  Each year within our club territory, more than 60,000 roadside calls are the result of battery related problems. In the past we could get the vehicle started again or tow the vehicle but that did not always address the real problem which was a need for a new battery. With Club Assist's Battery Assist we can offer a more complete service--diagnosis and replacement-- all at the scene of the original no-start. The Member is saved time and hassle and we're less likely to be called out again for the same problem.
In 2002, CAA South Central Ontario achieved the highest penetration of battery sales/per member of all Canadian clubs and we are on track to far surpass those numbers this year. Along with being a reliable revenue stream, battery sales also produce higher quality standard scores for satisfaction than other types of service calls.
For contractors, Battery Assist provides income diversification and allows them to invest in lighter duty vehicles.
