Our Approach to Performance Management
Our system is based on the balanced scorecard methodology with the premise that successful organisations must be effective in the following areas:
- Financial
- Customers
- People
- Operational effectiveness
In addition, we believe that it is important to measure our performance in terms of how we demonstrate our values.
At Club Assist there are two separate elements of our performance system.
- Performance Focus Index (PFI)
This is a monthly measurement system that applies to all employees and is based on the monitoring of selected Key Performance Indicators (KPI’s). Each month every employee submits results for their KPI’s which lead to monthly scores for each employee, business unit and the organisation as a whole. This provides a quick snap shot each month of how everyone is performing in terms of set targets.
- Performance reviews
This is the part of our performance management system where each employee is evaluated every six to twelve months. These reviews are more detailed and similarly to the PFI’s, the reviews consider all elements of the balanced scorecard system as well as including evaluation of the values. They are discussed in detail and are used as a basis for future improvement and development as well as having an influence on the rewards system.
